Inclusive Environment and Accommodation Policy

At Queen’s Academy, we are dedicated to creating a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for all students. To ensure children’s success and enjoyment in our programs, we kindly request that parents/guardians inform us at registration about any allergies, medical conditions, physical, emotional, or learning needs, or disabilities your child may have. If your child requires accommodations, please contact us by phone and email before the program starts so we can discuss their specific needs in detail and work closely to create a plan to support their participation. We welcome children of all abilities to try out our programs to see if Queen’s Academy is the right fit. Our group classes are run by supportive teachers who strive to create a safe, welcoming, fun, and flexible environment for everyone!

Diversity & Inclusion

Queen’s Academy celebrates diversity in all its forms! We are an LGBTQ+, women, disability, and Black-owned business committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and equitable program. We hope to create a safe environment, value and celebrate diverse experiences and ensure that all instructors, students, and volunteers’ voices are heard and respected, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, identity, class, or education. Our programs include diverse perspectives and materials to ensure all students feel represented and respected.

Sliding Scale Fee Structure

We believe all kids deserve the opportunity to enrich their lives through the arts. We recognize that financial barriers should not limit access to the arts, which is why Queen's Academy is more affordable compared to local competitors. To keep our fees accessible for families, we offer a limited amount of sliding scale fees connected to household income. Email us to learn more and see if you qualify for partial sponsorship. For more information or to discuss the sliding scale registration option, please email us at queensacademy@hotmail.com.

Accessibility and Learning Needs

We recognize that everyone learns differently. At Queen’s Academy we aim to accommodate a variety of accessibility and needs; including but not limited to varying disabilities, health conditions, English as an additional language, and changing family circumstances.
