Leading up to Black History Month, Black Excellence Day is dedicated to celebrating Black history and amplifying Black stories, art, voices and stand in solidarity with Black Canadians.

As a Teacher Candidate in The UBC's Faculty of Education, Queen was invited to participate in the Burnaby School District's 2026 Black Excellence Day Video Project.
